Stewart McKinnon
Managing Director, Development Manager & Senior Developer
Stewart is a born and bred Mackay boy and he completed his senior education at St. Patrick’s College Mackay. Stewart studied his Bachelor of Applied Science degree at the Central Queensland University where he majored in Mathematics and Computing.
Following two years as an application programmer with the Department of Defence in Canberra, Stewart accepted a position at the Sugar Research Institute in Mackay. Stewart spent ten years with SRI, initially as a computer scientist and then in the role of Computer Services Manager. Stewart has extensive experience in computer and network support, programming in C, VB, VB.NET and SQL.

Stephen Clarkson
Director, Services Manager & Senior Engineer
Stephen started his career in Dunedin, New Zealand at Otago University in 1987. As personal computer applications and networking overtook circuit design , Stephen an electronics engineer, moved to support network solutions for universities and small to medium businesses. In 1995 Stephen moved to Australia to support various local IT firms. Stephen was the Lead Technical support for 4 years before moving to the position of Mackay branch manager for Ipex, a well know national Australian Computer manufacture, before moving to C.Q.University.
Stephen came to us from C.Q.University after 6 years as technical support officer, and has been part of the business since 2008.
Stephen loves a challenge, and looks forward to being able to help you move forward in your business.

Andrew Brockhurst
Director & Senior Developer
Andrew joined iScape in July 2007 when given the opportunity for hands-on experience to jumpstart his career in the IT industry while completing his University studies. In 2010 he graduated from CQU Mackay with a Bachelor of Information Technology Degree (with Distinction), receiving both the Faculty and Graduation Medals for outstanding academic achievements. He finished his senior education at Mirani State High School, initially desiring a prosperous career in Finance Management but – after a few months off study – soon realised his keen interest in many areas of Information Technology, including Software Development.

Darren Thompson
Senior Services Engineer
Darren joined iScape in Feb 2013 and has lived with his family in Mackay for 5 years after 10 years living in Moranbah. Darren previously worked for CSC Australia for 13 years implementing technology infrastructure solutions and providing technical support for large mining companies such as BMA Coal and BMC. Darren has considerable experience implementing HP server infrastructure, Cisco network equipment and asset management within an ITIL compliant enterprise environment. Working in the mining industry over many years supervising technical staff and coordinating onsite projects, Darren understands the importance of safety and delivering above the customer’s expectations.

Luke Wisely
Office Administration
Luke gained an interest in computers during high school and chose IT as his field of study upon graduating. Since completing his Associate Diploma in IT in 1996 he has worked primarily in customer service rolls within the Transport, IT, and Construction industries throughout Mackay.

Joshua Rillera
Senior Developer
Born in the Philippines, Joshua moved to Mackay in 2009 and studied at Mercy College for Years 9 and 10 and completed Years 11 and 12 and St. Patrick’s College. Joshua then went to Brisbane to study at UQ, graduating at the end of 2015 with a Bachelor of Information Technology (Software Design major). Joshua achieved great results and graduated a Prentice Scholar. Throughout his degree, Joshua studied numerous programming languages, such as Python, Java, C, C#, PHP, JSP and Javascript, database and Web technologies, including HTML, XML, CSS and .NET.
Joshua began working with iScape in 2016 as a Junior Developer. Joshua loves to play games, play guitar and sing. He loves Mackay and looks forward to working here for many years to come.

Jayden Roebuck
Senior Developer
Jayden was born in Redcliffe where he attended both primary and secondary school at Southern Cross Catholic College. Following high school he completed his Bachelor of Games and Interactive Entertainment at Queensland University of Technology, majoring in Software Technology and achieving a Distinction.
He spent the next three years working on various research projects at QUT with one of his Senior Lecturers and innovation foundry Smart Services CRC. Jayden then took a year off paid employment to pursue his passion for developing video games before joining startup studio Pitchblak as an iOS and web developer for the following year. Jayden has a varied pool of software experience ranging from iOS apps, API’s, websites, games and databases.

Joeseph Finnegan

Joseph or (Joe) came onboard with iScape in November 2017.
Joseph began his career with completing a Bachelor of Information technology in 2009 through CQUniversity in Bundaberg, and has over 10 uears experience in IT Services and small business technologies, and is a wealth of knowledge and support to our clients.
Joe is a valued member of the team, and he loves to help solve odd problems.

Faraz Zamansani
Developer
Born in South Australia and raised in Tasmania, Faraz completed a Bachelor of Information and Communication Technology (Creative Technology Major) at the University of Tasmania in August 2018, moving to Mackay and starting work at iScape shortly after in November 2018.
Faraz enjoys technology, graphic design, Mackay’s sun, beaches and fishing.

Thomas Godfrey
Junior Developer
Tom was born in North Queensland on the Atherton Tablelands where he attended school. After moving to Mackay in 2012, Tom completed a Certificate III in IT and a Diploma of Business.
Tom realised his passion lay more in IT than Business during the course of his Diploma. After completing some online HTML and CSS courses Tom decided he would attend university in 2019. While planning to relocate to Brisbane to attend University, Tom was given the opportunity to jumpstart his IT career and begin developing his skills at iScape. Tom will be starting a Bachelor of Computer Science online in 2019 while working at iScape, which means he can continue his enjoyment of fishing in the Mackay region.
